I will no longer be a teenager on July 16 of this year. For my birthday, I wish for the following to happen: Skynyrd tattoos, alchohol, and sex. Im actually only getting one skynyrd tatto, but it sounds cooler if i say theres more than one. im also thinking about getting a ring tattooed on my left hand that says Pamela inside. ill wear a promise ring or wedding ring, or engagemnet ring over it so its still professional, ya know. and i want an ass tattoo. the end. |

if you like music thats tough, funny, raw, and moving, check out Shooter Jennings. (www.shooterjennings.com) hes the son of now dead country singer waylon jennings, but he kicks more ass. its like country/ rock. huge skynyrd influence but with banjos and pedal steel guitars. The album is called "Put The 'O' Back in C untry". it fuckin rocks. two of the songs invlove shooting people, including cops, there are some very emotional ballads, some no holds fuckin rock songs about weed and women, and a song called 'Southern Comfort". I bought the album, and you should too. if you dont it means your gay. |

| THE GREAT HAIR FIASCO FROM HELL AND DRAGONS |

i have a strabge suspicion that i know what it feels like to be raped. thoroughly. a week or so, or amybe a month ago, im not sure im still recovering and my sense of time is not all that acurrate, i got a haircut. yes, i. ryan david schmidt, the guy who got one bad haircut too many and vowed he would never cut his hair again. well, i lived up to my promise for nearly 2 and a half years. i decided that it was getting a little too long and looking mighty unproffesional. not only that, but i had dead ends like a motherfucker. i got a trim. it was less than 2 inches and relatively painless. time went on. my hair started to grow again. i decided another trim would be in order, i got one haircut, and it didnt kill me, so why not another? well, this time my hair was not cut by a proffesional, but by a girlfrriend. i had desired to have my hair identical to jonny depps in the film BLOW. i let the previously mentioned girlfriend have a go at it, since she has cut hair many times before and i have even witnessed her giving other girls trims. well, she fucked up. not only did she cut it far too short (the deal was its better to go too long than too short) but it looked egyptian. if your not sure what that looks like, its the equivalent of Lopster's face, but in hair form. needless to say i was distressed. after a few shots (5-6)in my system, the previously mentioned girlfriend drove me around looking for a place to fix the damage. because of the unique style this girlfiend bestowed upon me, even more hair was required to be cut to make my hair resemble anything normal. therfore, my hair got even shorter. as the alcohol wore off, hte reality set in. i was no longer a 'long-hair." to this day i tie it back in shame, and avoid public places whenever possible. as i mentioned, i felt raped by the incident and still feel as if some essential part of my soul was ripped out of me. shit. |

| THE ZENITH OF CINEMATIC ACHIEVEMENT |

yesterday,well technically this morning, which technically was yesterday becasue its this morning, i saw the most amazing movie i have ever seen. for nearly 3 whole years i have searched far and wide for this film, but all remaining copies have alluded me. then the other night at Tim's a copy of "KaZaam" appeared. for those of you not familiar with this landmark in cinematic history i will give a breif summary. shaq is a rapping genie. thats basically it. i realize that copies of this are extremely rare and few have been made and even fewer have survived, but if you can manage to find this movie, watch it. your life will be better as a result of it. this movie is the best. unfortunatley it was narrowly nudged out of an oscar nomination, but i believe it deserves best picture, best soundtrack, best special effects, and best actor. this is seriously one of the funniest movies i have ever seen in my life. it holds my vote as the zentih of cinematic achievement. |

hmmm, its st pats day and im irish and im not drunk and i have to go to work, shittttt. a few days ago i was working, at jc pennys, adn i was talking to some lady about easter, apparently its changed months this year so we were mad at teh 'easter committe'. my coworker, a 19 year old mexican, said 'yeah its too close to st patricks day.' i said 'when is saint patricks day?' this lady goes 'well, we can tell whos not irish.' what the fuck. im apalled. that lady thought some mexican was more irish than me. bastards. in conclusion spring break started today. |

| MAFIA KICKS SOME HARDCORE MOTHERFUCKIN WHITE TRASH ASS |

I may be a little redundant here, but the new album Mafia kicks some hardcore motherrfuckin white trash ass. Anyways now that you know that, i can tell you what i think of it. Other than kicking ass in general it has some characterisitcs that make it unique from previous BLS releases to date. Zakks thing with label has always been progression, you can trace the changes starting with the debut of Sonic Brew, distorted bass, layers upon layers of drop tuned BLS distirtion, distorted vocals, and pensive piano passages. at first glance Mafia seems to be more, i hate to say it, mainstream sounding. the reason is the songs are very polished, he uses a different distortion,and, while still rermaining very zakk, is different form anything weve heard before. this album is also less dependant on squeals, something that zakk naysayers (fuck you, you little ass bastards) have always criticized. Zakk also brings in the use of a mini-moog (? see the credits) played by producerBarry Conely) a feedbackesque digeridoo sounding instrument. Some favorite tracks of mine include, Fire it up, Suicide Messiah, In this River (RIP Dime), and and an amazing rendition of Skynyrds "I never dreamed." this is one of my favorite skynyrd songs, and zakk definitely did it justice. the outro solo is also my favorite on the entire album. In conclusion, keep bleeding black label, ill everyone whos not a pussy at the label show tomorrow. |

hello. its been awhile. how are you? tim and i recnelty attended the filming of the "Sucicde Messiah" music video, which is the single form Label's latest release, "Mafia." during the filming i shook zakks hand, twice!, tim did the same and also gave him congratulatory pats on the back. I look forward to seeing the video and listening to the new album, i have no doubts that it will be fuckin 'brewtal'. For some of you this is old news. Sorry, I react slowly to things. ANywyas this Friday most of the male varity of the SKYNYRD CREW and the LABEL CREW are attending a Black Label Society Concert in Anaheim. Excuse my poor spelling. In conclusion, I want to smoke weed. |

so its thanksgiving weekend and everyone is home and ive only seen alex. twice. i am looking forward to eating thanksgiving food such as turkey and mashed potatoes and pies, however i am not looking forward to spending time with relatives. they kinda suck. thanksgiving sucks. not the concept of thanksgiving which is eating a lot of food and feeling superior to poor,less fortuanate people(which i enjoy) but the actual expirience which includes alot of sitting around while old people talk about old people things, like how old they are and hemaroids. anyways im bored to tears. in the holdiday spirit i would like say a few things that i am thankful for:

I believe i willrecap the latest SB trip, which happened to include an AEF revival and the induction of the Santa Barbara chapter. the night began with some rocking out to skynyrd followed by the arival of tim. first, grabbed some SNPAs. we then quested to freebirds and some other things happened. As ususal, Karla was up to her tricks again. first of all, she was hiding under jordans computer making scary noises. then she put blood all over joses bed and some got on my leg. to top it off, she tore up a case of snack packs and threw pudding all over matts room. once the qualifying lap was over, and matt and steph arrived, the AEF revival and best night of our lives began. but it wasnt. but it was cool. it was weird. we quested to the liqour store and everyone was staring at us and trying to kill us with their faces. for some reason matt insisted that we needed 4 large pizzas. fuck this, this is boring. |

just for the record, im calling it right now that john kerry is an alien. some may doubt this, but i remind you of my previous record. i have made claims that matt is secretely a robot and that ryan slack is secretely a dog. both have since been proven true. for those of you still not sureif he isa an alien, look at his face. and his giant head which houses antennas and such. i dont know about you, but i dont want an alien running the country.
on another note....
